How many credit hours does a student need to be enrolled in to receive a federal student loan?

Students must be enrolled/registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in program (courses required for degree completion) to receive a loan. 

A third attempt of a previously passed course will not count as an eligible credit hour for a loan.
